Chief Executive Officer
Steve Junqueiro
As The Save Mart Companies’ retired President and Chief Operating Officer and current Chief Executive Officer of Steve Junqueiro Associates, Steve brings more than 48 years of produce industry experience to his position in industry leadership. He has remained actively involved in the company by maintaining his position on The Save Mart Companies’ Board of Directors and The Save Mart Companies C.A.R.E.S. Foundation Board of Directors. Throughout his career, Steve has served and held leadership positions on many industry and charitable Boards, including FMI Board of Directors (FMI Chairman Mid-winter Conference), Chairman of the Board of the Produce Marketing Association (now the International Fresh Produce Association), Produce for Better Health Foundation Board of Directors, and was the 1998 Produce Marketing Association Convention Chairman. He served on the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Fruit and Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee for two terms and was an expert speaker at an international level assisting the USDA Foreign Agriculture Service. As CEO of SJ Associates, Steve provides consulting, mentoring, and coaching excellence.
